The client is a Danish SME specializing in long-term monitoring of epilepsy. We joined the client’s team with a Software Engineer and a Test Engineer for one year.

How it works

The hardware

The implantable part (A) is placed extracranially under the skin. It measures the bipolar EEG from the contact points. The external part (C) is attached externally to the person with epilepsy.

As soon as the soon as the recorder and the implantable part are aligned, the EEG is recorded and stored.

Our contribution

What we did during this project

  • Firmware development (C++) for BLE communication with App.
  • Drafting Documents according to EN62304 (Software Requirements, Architecture. Cybersecurity and traceability)
  • Mechanical and electrical design of a Test Harness for Test automated code Based on Raspberry PI, connected of CI/CD with Azure pipelines
  • Development of automated testing based on Python framework (pytest)
  • Drafting Test Documents according to EN62304 (System Plan, Protocol, Report)
